50% of children born with heart defects will need heart surgery at sometime in their life. Of those 50%, 35% need surgery in the first month in order to survive.

Come join us Friday, August 23rd, 2013 at the Cadre in downtown Memphis to celebrate our first medical mission 20 years ago and honor some of our strongest supporters. ICHF will also premier our latest documentary film, “Babyheart” shot on a medical mission in Kharkiv, Ukraine and we will premiere an original song dedicated to our mission. The 9th annual Taste of Caribe fundraiser for the International Children’s Heart Foundation was held on Saturday, June 29th, 2013, at ANF Architects. ICHF raised $21,000 and the funds will go towards a Babyheart medical mission in Latin America.
Danni Bruns of 98.1 the Max came out to host and the hottest Latin band in Memphis, Los Cantadores performed for our guests at what has become one of the best parties in Memphis. Guests had access to some of the top brand cigars from ProCigar and the Caribbean and the best Bacardi Rum. They got to meet and talk with ICHF Executive Director, Terry Carter and our Founder, Dr. Bill Novick. A good time was had by all and we raised money for a great cause. See you all next year!
