Children's Heart Surgeon Honored

"Dr. William Novick, a Memphis pediatric heart surgeon, was honored in Switzerland recently for his work founding the International Children's Heart Foundation. Novick was awarded the Frederique Constant Passion Award, which recognizes a successful business entrepreneur. At a June 28 ceremony in Geneva, he received a gold Frederique Constant watch. He is also being offered business advise. In 1997, Novick launched the heart foundation to provide needed surgical care to infants with life-threatening heart defects. The foundations has cared for nearly 3,000 youngsters in 20 countries."
