ICHF is very pleased to announce special presentations and visitors at the Taste of Caribe Fundraising event May 10, 2008.

Dr. Ramirez, director of the Santiago, Dominican Republic cardiac care center will attend and provide an update on the new center which is close to being completed.

Hendrik Keltner, Dominican Republic president of ProCigars, the cigar manufacturers association, has donated almost 200 boxes of limited edition cigars and will present ICHF with a check for $15,000.

A representative for Pedro Rosario, the Bacardi Dominican Republic country manager, will present to ICHF, on behalf of Barcardi, Ltd., a check for $40,000 for its Dominican Republic Program. Bacardi has also donated many of the libations for the event.
